Misdemeanor Case Filing:

Class A and B Misdemeanor Cases are filed with the County Clerk. The judicial process for these cases continues until the judgments are fully satisfied or until the cases are appealed to a higher court. It is the County Clerk’s responsibility to collect fines and court costs from individuals who have been convicted and are ordered to pay fines.

Paying Fines and Court Costs:

The Office of the County Clerk has streamlined the process for paying your fines and court costs for misdemeanor cases. Follow these steps to make your payment online:

1. Go directly to the payment page by clicking on this link: Certified Payments.
2. Enter the Bureau Code: 9122650 and click on “Begin Payment” to proceed.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your payment.
4. After completing the payment, please email your receipt to collections@co.cameron.tx.us for confirmation.

 

Justice of the Peace Case Filing:

For Tickets/Citations from Justice of the Peace Court that are on a Payment Plan, you may make a payment online using a debit/credit card at: https://www.cameroncountytx.gov/online-payment-options/
